Myxos provides backpackers with accommodation in Swaziland. Clean and comfortable accommodation is provided in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The backpacking lodge is located in a farm house 6kms outside Manzini. .Two dorms and two private rooms are set in a nice old style double story house surrounded by indigenous trees. Myxo's Place is the only Swazi owned and run Backpackers. The lodge is also our home and you will be welcomed as family rather than guests.
Being at Myxo's you are exposed to meeting real Swazi's during your stay because his friends and family drop by often to visit. Meet the local guys unlike other places where you will only meet other travellers. It gives you a chance to ask all the questions about the Swazi culture, tradition and the people.
It's very close to all the places of interest and Daniel and Lungile will help you and provide all the information necessary information.
We also provide traditional accommodation in the rural village of Kaphunga as part of our tour of the village
Directions:
From Joburg- Drive pass Manzini along the Siteki-Mozambique Road ,its about 6km’s pass the Manzini clinic on your left. Don’t turn at Sunny side super market carry on till you see a sign on your left ‘‘Myxos Backpackers’’ slow down and turn left there and follow signs. At the Y junction take the left fork and keep going .It’s the last house at the bottom.
From Durban-When you hit the T junction joining the main road to Manzini after about 2 kms and you will see the Big sign on your right ‘‘Myxos Backpackers’’ turn here and follow directions as above.
