They have often sent competitors to take part in boxing, athletics and swimming.
Star performers
No Swazi athlete has ever advanced beyond the first round of their competition. Even boxer Leonard Makhanya, a Commonwealth silver medalist who competed at the 1984 Olympics, was unable to make it through. In 2012 athletes Sibusiso Matsenjwa (100m) and Phumlile Ndzinisa and 100m freestyle swimmer Luke Hall will all try to progress through their heats.
